About Us

Who are we?

We are a language-learning server. We provide a platform on Discord with tools and resources where ARMYs can help each other improve and study their target language(s).

Our goal

We want to help ARMYs improve at writing, reading, speaking, and listening in their target language(s) through practice and activities.

Our expectations

  • Follow our rules. They are found in our Discord server.

  • Be active. You can talk to other people, share your goals or progress, participate in our events and activities - we just need to see that you are active.

  • Practice and study your target language(s) and/or help others with theirs. We are a language-learning server and our goal is to help you improve, but we can't do that if you don't make the effort to practice and study.

How to join

You can join if you're an ARMY who...

  • Is at least 13 years old, since you must be 13+ to make a Discord account

  • wants to practice and improve in their target languages [Language Learners] and/or

  • wants to help others practice and improve with their learning [Language Helpers]

Server invite link

On our Twitter account, every two weeks on Saturday and Sunday at 9am KST and 9pm KST, we will be sending out invite links for our Discord server. Spots are limited.

Doing this will make it easier for us to do the verification and tracking processes (both found on the next page).

Verification & Tracking Processes

Verification process

Once you've joined the server, you'll be asked some questions and you must answer them truthfully. You will need to be verified before you may access the rest of the server.

We're not asking for a whole essay, but we don't want to see just a sentence or two. Make your answers detailed, but please do not feel obligated to share any private information.

You will get 3 days to answer the verification questions. If you fail to answer them within that time limit, you will be kicked but can rejoin at a later time.

We merely wish to be sure that no unauthorized party will join the server and cause unwanted chaos. Furthermore, for the safety of current and future members, we reserve the right to approve or deny any anyone as we deem fit within reason.

Tracking process

Once you've been verified, the tracking process will begin. You will be tracked for 1 month.

We will be checking to see if you are active in the server. In the past, we have had many people who joined the server but then haven't said a word since. We want to prevent that from happening, or at least lessen the chances.

If by the end of 1 month, you have not been active, you will be kicked from the server. You are allowed to rejoin at a later date.

After the tracking period

One of our expectations is for our server members to be active. If after the tracking period, you have been inactive for more than 3 months, you will unfortunately be kicked from the server. But again, you may rejoin at a later date.
